Train (work in progress)

I'm currently working on a freelance project for the school. This is just a test shot to see how the train looks in its environment. The train design was done by Lenni Graves. I was responsible for translating it into 3D using Maya, texturing, and rigging (which I'm still currently working on).

Waiter Turn Around

One more turn around. This is the character that I did a while back, with a more entertaining turn around for reel purposes... which go out tomorrow! Hopefully the hard work will pay off.
Design, model, rig, and animation done in Maya by my self.

Character Turn Around

Another one of my characters. The animation is already getting a little better. It was brought to my attention that this character had no facial features. Well, a little bit of surgery and voila!
All work here is by my self.

Lion Turn Around

I've been putting reels together and decided to animate turn arounds of my characters. This is the lion from my film. The animation isn't too great but I'm a little rusty.

Ice Cream Truck (in progress)

This is a project that I started a couple month ago. It's taking me a while because I'm going crazy on the detail (see bottom picture). I'm also working on the interior and stickers. Very labor intensive, but quite fun.
All work done by Amelie Pourtau in Maya.

Family Shot

Celebrating all the hard work of 2007!

Gismoduck property of Disney studios. Poacher design by Josh Reed. All other work by Amelie Pourtau.

Poacher

Here is another model I created. I worked under the direction of Josh Reed, the character designer, to stay true to the drawing. I also rigged him although it doesn't show here.

Sneak peek

Hi everyone. Somehow the desire to animate has overtaken me. In the Christmas spirit, I have decided to make a 30sec short. I am still working on it, but here is a sneak peek. Check back soon for the final!!

This is from a freelance job. I modeled both logos, did the animation, added lights, and rendered it.

Dogs

I've been working at a small studio for three weeks doing various models for a children's TV show. The first is one that I designed, modeled and textured myself. The second was given as a very rough model, and I was responsible for cleaning it up and texturing.

All work property of So-Computer Animation.
